BEST GRAPHICS CARD SETTINGS

Postby admin » Mon Oct 20, 2025 9:34 pm

For an NVIDIA graphics card, the best 3D settings for an online FPS game prioritize performance over visual quality. Key settings include setting Power Management Mode to "Prefer maximum performance" and Texture Filtering - Quality to "High performance" in the NVIDIA Control Panel. It's also best to leave Threaded Optimization on "Auto" and Vertical Sync off globally. For controllers, use the in-game settings and ensure your monitor is set to its highest refresh rate, while leaving the Max Frame Rate setting off in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
NVIDIA Control Panel settings for performance
Global Settings tab 3D:
Power Management Mode: "Prefer maximum performance".
Low Latency Mode: "On" (or "Ultra" if the game is new and supports it).
Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization: "On".
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD Bias: "Allow".
Texture Filtering - Quality: "High performance".
Threaded Optimization: "Auto" (or "On" if your system is heavily CPU-bound).
Vertical Sync: "Off" (or "On" if you experience screen tearing).
Max Frame Rate: Off globally (set it in-game if needed for consistency).
OpenGL rendering GPU: Set to your specific GPU instead of "Auto".

This video demonstrates how to adjust NVIDIA Control Panel settings for maximum gaming performance:
